GMail is OUT of BETA!

YES that is correct Google has taken GMail, Docs, Calender, and GTalk out of BETA. This is pretty awesome considering i have been there since the beginning and that little beta sign was just an indication that the app could potential crash at any moment losing all data. LOL that would prolly never happen but i am pretty excited about this.

The reason behind removing the sign was to appeal to new business customers. Their plan is to bundle the products in to one product and sell them per user/year use type of thing. Pretty smart idea for google to do this not to mention the “solid” recognition the products will get without the beta sign.

Being a businessman myself i use these applications just about everyday. Just a little fun fact Google Apps are used by over 2 million business people. They also bring in hundreds of millions of dollars alone for Google. On top of that by selling these products, Google will be creating a MASS stream of revenue.

Matt Cutts Lets a Couple Secrets Out About Blogging and SEO

I was just over at Mark Fulton’s DotSauce and i saw this amazing post about Matt Cutts telling all about blogging and SEO. I had not seen this slide show yet and was pretty amazed by what Matt has presented everyone with. About the only thing that is different with my blog and what he suggests is my link structure. I use the category in my link structure along with the post title. Other than that i am good to go according to his slide show, which he presented at WordCamp San Fransico this past Saturday. God i wish they would bring one of those here to Idaho or any domaining/internet event LOL. Matt even straight out suggests wordpress to get you started and says that it already has 90% of what you need for the mechanics of SEO. On top of that he shows you what plug-ins he uses. Here is the slide show with out further ado:
