Bido.com Pick of the Week 6/1/09-6/5/09

Alright this week we have a bunch of one word domains along with a mixed bag of TLDs. In my opinion even though these are one word domains i think it is going to be pretty slow as far as the sales go this week. There is nothing that just jumps out and screams “pick me, pick me”. Not saying there is not anything good i just do not expect to be amazed by anything here this week. With out further ado here are the auctions this week:

MondayPoison.me

TuesdayContentTheft.com

WednesdayPassion.us

ThursdayMisconception.com

FridayTechnicians.info

I really really would love to pick ContentTheft.com this week but i just can’t. There is just something with its stats and ability to make money i just can not get over. None the less i do think this name does have more ability and appeal to sell to an end-user. Even with that on my mind i picked Passion.us this week just because of its generic nature. I like this name because it offers to much in the arena of the love of something. You can take this across so many niches but most of all the biggest winner is the “dating/love” niche. You could easily market this to the .com hold or simply develop a great site out of this one. The search for “passion” is obviously pretty amazing and the ppc is not bad but its not great either. I expect this one to be in the mid to high $xxx and would happy if it made $x,xxx.

Bido is a nice alternative to Sedo, Afternic, Moniker, Snapnames, or whatever but they should feature not just one but at least 20 names on their daily auctions. Just my opinion.

Thanks Ross for the post and Jessica for the comment.
Jessica, we will soon start running more than one auction per day. We started slow with just one as we built out the innards of the platform to accommodate the much bigger picture that Bido is. You will see the changes soon. We have a lot to offer and we really just scratched the surface with what you see publicly now. Thank you for your kind words and support.
